JJ!
First full colour reference I did for them, specifically so they could be added to my artfight ;p. I like the outfit, but the pose is pretty static. I also failed to portray just how sick its bird feet are! (and its mismatched arms...)
Artfight piece
Gorgeous art by Ealya Art! One of my favourite pieces of Jeeby ever. The pose is so sick!!
Pin-up Poser.
Beautiful art by Egomassacre! MY FAVOURITE EVER JEEBY PIECE!!! Commissioned Egomassacre after finding him because of his gorgeous Killer7 fanart, and my god did he knock it out of the PARK! Look how amazing JJ looks!!! It was a full artistic licence commission and I love the outfit he chose.
Cold Storage
This one's based on a cool as fuck photo I saw on Instagram once. Fun experiment, but I don't think it's as readable as it could be.
Fashion sketches
For a character that is literally a fashion model, I don't draw JJ in funky clothes often. This was me trying to rectify that, and also practice doodles.
Concept Art
The concept art that made JJ! They started off as a cyborg, so they retained a human arm in this sketch. Love this drawing so much because it was this specific sketch that nailed the vibe of JJ- their personality pops in this one to me, and it marks the moment they became a character of its own. You can also see their sick ass bird feet in detail on this (i love those sick ass bird feet xp). This was drawn with my favourite pen, the brush pen, which sadly I lost on a work trip... RIP brush pen, you were mad fun. Definitely want to fully paint this.
Concept Art - Arms
This was me nailing down the asymmetric arm design. I like these sketches, they show a little fun personality.
Concept Art - Body
Wanted to nail down the body design in this one.

Character inspirations

- Shrike - Mortal Engines
- Genos - One Punch Man
- T-800 - Terminator 1 & 2
- Connor - Detroit: Become Human
The superior original one for the personality, but I will admit the design's influenced by the remake.
Rare pull but true. Especially the bird feet that the film version had. Shrike's design was the only good part of that adaptation...
Genos my GOAT. I love this guy, and his personality and design were big inspiration for JJ.
Oughh evil machine who turns good trope save me... save me killing machine turned protector
I am not the biggest fan of this game, or of David Cage (guy's too far up his own arse imo) but I do love the relationship between Hank and Connor. Machine Connor was the biggest inspiration for some of JJ's personality.
Military combat hardware turned fashion model, specialising in alterative fashion.
Cannot make any facial expressions. Permanently straight faced. Doesn't really talk a lot- prefers to text.
Completely mechanical- its face and hair is faux skin. Its right side is damaged, asymmetric. It loves wearing bright colours in strikingly different styles. They dress like a tropical bird, preferring looser fabrics with interesting patterns to anything "skin"tight. Occasionally goes "nude", or as nude as a combat android designed specifically for urban warfare and pacification with no discernible sex characteristics can get.Uses it/they pronouns. It's a machine, not human, but some people don't feel comfortable calling it an it. They don't mind any pronouns actually. Generally, a lot of people assume it's male.
It's still a multimillion pound lethal weapon of war and can and did once frequently kill people, but mostly it serves cunt and hangs out at weird niche fetish clubs and punk hangouts purely for anthropological study.
Finds humanity deeply fascinating in much the same way a virologist loves disease. Lover of the arts.
