Acquistioned anomaly - temporal flux oscillation

Subject 505 was acquired as an asset during the company takeover of [DATA REDACTED]. 505 already displayed anomalous properties and was being used by [DATA REDACTED] as a reusable shock troop. It is unclear whether subject was manufactured or discovered as a naturally occured anomaly.
Subject 505 displays a curious resiliency beyond typical human capabilties. When subject is deceased, the body does not begin the process of decomposition, but remains in a state functionally identical to a living animal. Total organ and cell function ceases but no further damage occurs excepting that which caused the death originally. The subject enters a "static" state, where no change can be made to the carcass from the point of death. Any attempts to damage the carcass further- for example, through laceration, fire, or ballistic trauma - is rendered null. The carcass will remain intact and undamaged excepting the fatal damage. After a passage of time (the duration of which appears entirely random), the fatal damage will instantaneously vanish and the subject will resume full bodily function. Subject appears entirely undamaged physically and apparently psychologically after such events, although attempts to infer subject's mental state are poor due to modifications made by previous owner. It is documented in seized data from [DATA REDACTED] that this appears to be a result of subject being "a bounded fluctuation centered on a stable temporal reference point". Subject does not appear to need to eat, drink, or sleep, but when given the choice will do so to no apparent effect. Further testing is required.
Previous owner's addition of canine prefrontal cortex greatly improved obedience and loyalty. Unfortunate side effect of reduced apparent intelligence and communicative abilities. Reduced cognitive abilties considered irrelevant to total increased operational efficiency. Possible applications of prefrontal cortex modifications considered for other subjects.
men made dogs, they took wolves and gave them human things - unnecessary intelligence, names, a desire to belong, and a twitching inferiority complex. all dogs dream wolf dreams, and know they're dreaming of biting their maker. every dog knows, deep in his heart, that he is a Bad Dog... -terry pratchett

i look at dogs with secret horror.
who knows what is hidden in their heads?
